Homelands Harvest Heroes

A HUGE thank you to Homelands Primary School for allowing us to come in today and share the importance of Harvest.

We spoke about the joy of sharing and how each and every one of the children were superheroes. Through even the smallest donation of a tin of beans, a huge difference is made to the person receiving that tin.

We spoke about the journey of a tin of beans up to the point of putting it onto the harvest table. Next week some of the children will be coming to the Torquay Community Larder to see the rest of the journey. How it is dated and then selected to go into a food parcel someone.
